Are telcos stuck in reverse?

European operators are upping investment, rolling out new shops and promising they are committed to delivering a best-in-class customer experience but evidence suggests most are still lagging.

As getting customer experience right becomes ever more important, European Communications’ latest seminar brings together a range of industry experts to outline best practice and debate how telcos can improve their current strategies.

Presentations will explore how the customer experience dynamic is evolving, including:

  • Operator case studies
  • Getting the multichannel experience right
  • Creating a differentiated experience
  • Measuring customer experience

This seminar will look at all these issues and more with analysts, operators and vendors discussing what the telco community must do if it is to succeed.

The Enterprise Opportunity

Date: Tuesday 29th January 2013

Time: 9:00am-12:30pm

Venue: Tower 42, 25 Old Broad Street, City of London, EC2N 1HQ

With retail markets under severe pressure across Europe as the diminishing price per byte, regulation and the depressed macroeconomic environment contribute to falling revenues, the enterprise market offers operators a real opportunity for growth.

Businesses are moving inexorably towards the cloud, embracing mobility in the workplace and examining the potential of a whole host of new IT and communications tools.

But as the boundaries between the network and IT services continue to blur, this brings operators increasingly into competition with providers with whom they already partner to provide IT services to businesses around the world.

Operators have much work to do in order to convince businesses they are the go-to-people for this new world of digital enterprise and, internally, have a way to go to provide the type of flexible, end-to-end and cutting-edge services that enterprises require.

This seminar looked at all these issues with analysts, operators and vendors discussing what the telco community must do if it is to succeed in the enterprise space.
