Do the numbers stack up for operators?

Mastering big data is widely recognised as being of crucial importance to operators in Europe as they look to return to growth.

While still in its infancy – the majority of operators appear to be still in the process of evaluating how they can use it small-scale trials – understanding is growing.

However, there is little evidence of anyone getting to close to launching anything similar to Telefónica Digital’s Smart Steps programme, which focuses on selling data to third parties.

This seminar will explore how the telco industry is getting to grips with Big Data, including:

  • Operator case studies
  • Using big data to improve internal processes and selling to third parties
  • Big data and customer privacy – latest insights
  • The talent conundrum – getting hold of and keeping the right staff

This seminar will look at all these issues and more with analysts, operators and vendors discussing what the telco community must do if it is to succeed.
