Managed chaos? The rise and rise of telco outsourcing

With European operators experiencing continued revenue and profit decline, increasing competition from non-telcos and an ever more complex technological landscape, the theory behind outsourcing key areas of their businesses is growing in popularity.

This seminar took a look at the state of the managed services industry to ascertain which areas are growing in importance – from retail versus enterprise to traditional network and IT managed services versus the emerging areas of big data analytics and M2M.

Crucial areas of discussion such as the principal challenges that engaging in managed services contracts creates for operators and how such contracts will evolve over the next 12-24 months were also tackled.
