European Communications launches digital transformation survey

digital transformation, IT

European Communications’ latest quarterly survey delves into operators’ views about digital transformation.

Digital transformation is one of the most talked about issues in the industry at the moment, as operators look to update their technology roadmaps, improve customer experience, cut costs and position themselves for new business opportunities.

Vimpelcom’s decision to spend $1 billion on tasking Ericsson to completely overhaul its IT architecture in a bid to offer more realtime, relevant offerings is just one recent example.

The survey looks at how operators view digital transformation and how they are going about tackling it, the goals they are setting and the challenges they are facing.

The results of the survey will appear in the Q1 issue of European Communications magazine, published in February.
