Orga Systems successfully enters Asian market
Orga Systems, leading provider of convergent real-time billing, entered Asian market to answer mobile operators demand for end-to-end billing solution. The subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur, opened in February this year, was the first step for the strategic long-term expansion of business in the Asian Pacific region. The office in Kuala Lumpur will continue providing highly complex products and the entire end-to-end service chain operators are looking. In addition, the office will provide software development for the Orga Systems Group.
The highly competitive Asian-Pacific market stipulates real-time convergent billing- as well as loyalty solutions. Data is, amongst others, an important growth driver. A huge trend for voice/data convergence and more and more mobile operators offering broadband via mobile and fixed-line raise the need for real time. Due to a lack of real-time control, today operators offer only a few data services for prepaid subscribers. Fraud prevention and real-time cost-control are even more important for premium data services.
As competition between operators is almost solely based on price in most Asian-Pacific markets, real-time loyalty programs are the means to fight very high churn-rates. The Orga Systems' product suite perfectly enables and supports convergent real-time offerings. These offerings help increasing ARPU, raising customer loyalty and reducing costs for competitive advantages.
Manifold reasons led Orga Systems to the strategic long-term decision to establish the new subsidiary in Kuala Lumpur. One important factor was the excellent economic environment with regulatory advantages, economic stability and a supportive financial climate. Location attractiveness like very good infrastructure and logistic, other markets close by and high resource availability was another important factor.
